REMI'S POV Marisol stayed for two weeks. This had not been formally agreed — she had arrived at three in the morning on the day of the birth and had simply, in the manner of Marisol, not left. Her hotel was two blocks away. She appeared at the penthouse each morning at seven with something from the market and the particular quality of a woman who has been given access to something she has waited a very long time for and is not going to waste a minute of it. She did not, in two weeks, move the cups once without explaining why. This was noted.
