Ridge stood and walked toward Kane. Nobody interrupted him as he stopped beside the table. Gavin had connections to men who had betrayed the Savage Kings, and now he was running around with the Black Reapers. I wanted to know how much Kane knew.
"Did Gavin know what those men were doing?" Ridge asked.
"I can't say for certain."
"Did he ever work with Priest or Zander?"
"Not that I know of."
Dane leaned forward and crossed his arms. He'd been listening without saying much since Kane arrived. I knew he wasn't satisfied with the answers we'd gotten. Neither was I.
"You knew Gavin was transporting vehicles for your members," Dane said. "Did you ever question what they were moving?"
"At the time, I had no reason to."
"And now?"
"Now I question everything."
