I blinked in confusion and tilted my head. “Huh?”

I trailed off, lost in my thoughts as the doctor spoke. I knew he was saying something but I couldn’t hear what he was saying.
My mind started racing. I had no idea when last I had my period. My hand hovered around my stomach and I examined it, trying to see if it was protruding.
With everything that had been going on, I hadn’t kept track of my period in a while but I knew I had it some time ago. My hands were clammy with sweat as I realized where the conversation was heading.
Everywhere became dizzy and the next thing I knew, everything went blank.
