When we arrived in New York the next morning, Alexander offered to drive me back home by himself. One of the drivers took Arthur and Caroline home in a different car.
“So what does this mean?” He asked as he drove into the city.
I blushed.
I had taken time to think about it. To think about us. I didn’t mind trying one more time. Alexander had always been there. No matter what was going on.
Even when I had gotten myself involved with other men, Alexander still stuck around. We are both single and nothing was stopping us from being together.
