I was about to drift off to sleep when my phone started running. I smiled as I saw Alexander’s name flashing across the screen.
“Hey, what’s going on?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
“I finally told Jason that his mother is in jail. Guess what his response was?” Alexander asked with a hint of urgency in his voice. Before I could even respond, he continued. “He already knows, Riley and Rowan told him about it but they asked him not to say anything.”
“What?” I gasped in disbelief as I sat upright on the bed. “How did they find out about it? And when did they even tell him?”
Letting out a deep sigh, Alexander added. “I have no idea, Olivia. I’m as shocked as you are.” He admitted. “But Jason seems to be okay with it. Maybe he doesn’t know it’s a bad thing.”
