I had promised Olivia that I would spend the day with her because I was caught up with work in the morning when we already had plans to go to the hospital for her usual checkup.
After I was done going over the paperwork I had to attend to that morning, I packed up and left the office. On my way out, I asked my assistant to hold all my calls because I wasn’t going to be available for the rest of the day.
As I drove to meet Olivia at the hospital, I stopped by a restaurant to get some food for her. I wanted her to be well-fed before the arrival of her baby.
I didn’t spend much time at the restaurant and soon enough, I arrived at the hospital. I made my way to the entrance and waited for Olivia at the reception.
