Even if Riley and I weren’t together, I still felt I had to do something nice for her on Valentine’s Day. I wanted to be polite, so I sent presents to her dorm room and planned a nice dinner for us afterward.
I wanted it to be more romantic, so I decided to ask one of the best fashion designers I know to make a custom dress for Riley.
The dress was meant to be delivered to her room by four but it was almost four and I couldn’t get a hold of the designer.
Riley had texted me earlier to let me know she was excited about the dinner. She also mentioned that she was excited to see her dress.
As I tried to contact the designer, I paced around the living room worried. I wasn’t getting any response and I was starting to freak out.
