Dahlia’s mention of Jaime immediately pulled Maya’s attention.
Her shoulders tensed as her entire body instantly went on alert.
“How is he? Does he need more blood?”
Dahlia gently shook her head at the rapid questions.
“I didn’t get the chance to see him myself, but the nurses said he’s been stable throughout.”
A faint smile appeared on Maya’s face as the tension slowly left her shoulders.
Stable.
