Aria's POV
Viktor followed me. We walked into the main hall, where several of the rogue wolves were gathered. The moment we entered, their attention shifted toward us.
I looked at them. "How long have you known Viktor?"
One of the wolves stepped forward. "I've known him for years."
"You knew him before Silas?"
"Absolutely."
"Did he tell you his story?"
The wolf nodded. "He did."
Another stepped forward. "We knew where he came from."
"Tell me about it," I said, wanting to know if his story would corroborate what Viktor had already told me.
The wolf glanced at Viktor, sympathy evident in his eyes.
"He was an Alpha's illegitimate child. His elder brother felt threatened by him and accused him of plotting to take his place. Because of that, Viktor was banished from his pack."
