Aria's POV
I looked at Damon. "I want to turn the Grayson territories into an independent pack."
His brows furrowed.
"My family has enough land and resources to break away from Silvermoon Pack and stand on our own. If Grayson territory becomes a pack, the Council will have a much harder time claiming it."
Damon remained silent for several seconds, clearly considering the idea.
Then his expression changed. "That's actually a smart move, Aria."
"Really?"
"It could work." His grip tightened slightly around my hand. "Once Grayson territory becomes an established pack, its land will have the protection that comes with pack sovereignty. But there's one obvious question."
I already knew what he was going to ask. "A pack needs an Alpha."
His eyes widened slightly. "You want to become the
