Justin entered carrying another stack of files. "These are from Alpha Damon."
I accepted them. "They're the financial audits you requested."
I opened the folder. Several names immediately caught my attention. It contained the names of committee members, council investigators, and senior administrators, each receiving large deposits over several years.
Ryder let out a low whistle. "Now this is proof that they've been bought."
Silence settled over the room. Then another voice spoke from the doorway. "I've confirmed the source of the money paid into the council members' accounts."
It was Noah. He walked in carrying his laptop. Apparently, he had discovered the same thing Damon did and even took it a step further.
