Aria's POV The evening of the gala arrived faster than I would have liked. My room looked as though a storm had swept through it. Three gowns lay across the bed: one deep emerald, one midnight black, and one silver that shimmered like moonlight whenever it caught the light. I stood in front of the mirror with my arms folded, unable to decide. Lydia padded around inside my mind, far more interested in the mission than the clothes. Wear the black. I reached for the emerald dress. "I wasn't asking." I held the gown against myself. It fit perfectly, elegant enough for a room full of billionaires and Alphas, but not so extravagant that anyone would remember me. That was exactly what I needed. Invisible. As soon as I was done getting dressed, a knock sounded at my door before it opened.
