Renko’s POV.
The witch got word to me that her and Zoe had a plan, but it would require the king to formally recognise Zoe as his heir under the full moon, which is the same night that Zoe will be brought here in chains by my uncle.
We have lycans watching the portals around the area for any sign of this army that my uncle is travelling with. Caroline has placed runes around the kingdom and when one is activated, it will alert her. She has also put in some other measures, but she won’t tell me what they are. All I know is I will know what they are when we see them.
When I spoke to the king known as Leonidas, he agreed to do whatever he could to help his granddaughter. We could have stormed where my uncle is staying, but the prophecy needs to be done in a specific way at a specific time.
