“Alpha, Alpha!” I open my eyes and look around the darkened bedroom to see my beautiful mate laying naked on top of me, sleeping peacefully.
“What is it?” I say through the link.
“There is a man here to see the luna.” The warrior says and I think who could be here to see my mate in the middle of the night? It has been weeks since Zoe and I mated and marked.
“Ask whoever it is to wait. I will be there shortly.” I say as I move a sleeping Zoe off my chest and kiss her head and she wiggles around, mumbling about ice cream. I smile at her as she snuggles back down. I pull the quilt over her as I climb out of bed and get dressed as quickly as I can.
