The power surge through the bond is enough to knock me on my ass.
“She accepts us, Ren, she accepts us,” Zeus says with a whining cry in my head and I know I was not expecting her to forgive us, let alone accept us. Without thinking, I lift her up and she giggles, smiling down at me.
She wraps her long legs around my waist and I take off running with her back to the pack house.
“Where are we going, you big goof?” She giggles and I growl at her playfulness as I take the stairs two at a time to get her to my room.
“I’m going to mate and mark you now that you have accepted me.” I tell her the truth and she stops laughing and looks down at me and I think I have just f****d up once again.
“I mean, we don’t have …” She cuts me off by kissing me and my hands move to grip her
