Vesna reached into a case beside her chair — slow, deliberate, the specific care of someone who understood exactly how much tension filled the room and had no intention of adding to it with a sudden movement.
She produced a folder.
"Her name is Talia Reyes," she said. "Nineteen years old. A territory called Vesk Hollow, five days from here by road, further by the routes your compound would need to use to avoid detection." She set the folder on the table. "The operative running the suppression is someone I trained myself, years ago, before I understood fully what I was training him for. His name is Corin Vess."
