Ethan shifted first. He rolled to his side, keeping one arm beneath her shoulders so she stayed tucked against him. The sheets had cooled during their absence, but the warmth between their bodies made up for it. He drew the comforter up over them both with a slow pull, letting it settle across her hip and his waist. Aria turned her face into the crook of his neck. Her breath brushed his skin in even, quiet puffs. One of her legs slid over his, calf resting along the length of his shin.
