It had been exactly a month since Aria was taken to another country, a month since I left Amelia just to follow Aria in Europe. I didn't trust Richard at all, I didn't want anyone standing a chance to get her… Especially not Ethan.
Her grandparents did an amazing job keeping her locked inside, fed lies and brewed so much hate inside of her for him… or so I thought.
I knocked on her door lightly, she opened and barely smiled when she looked at me. She lost her spark.
“Grandpa is inside,” She said flatly, stepping aside for me to enter.
