I still cried whenever I felt alone. I still cried to sleep knowing he was gone because he wanted me to live.
The feeling of losing someone I loved hit differently. It felt like I lost a part of me, a part of my soul.
I woke up to the blinding light streaming from the opened window. Or at least I felt like I just woke up when the image of my father appeared before me.
