Every single person in the auditorium was staring at Lilith, who wast standing at the bottom of the stage covered in blood and pointing at my children like they were criminals. I felt Andrei’s hand tighten around mine for just a second before he dropped it completely. Without hesitation, he yanked off his fox mask and jumped down from the stage, running to Lilith. “Lilith, what happened? Are you alright?” He reached for her, clearly ready to carry her out of there and get her medical attention. But she stepped back, shaking her head violently. “No!
