Natalia’s POV Andrei’s wolf slammed into Isaac with a resounding crash. The knife flew from Isaac’s hand and skittered across the floor. Isaac hit the wall hard enough to crack the wood. He slumped for half a second before scrambling to his feet. “Andrei!” I screamed, wriggling against my bonds. My body was beginning to fail me. Whatever was in the knife had begun to paralyze my muscles, slowly turning them thick and stupid. “Andrei, help! I can’t… move!” If he heard me, he didn’t indicate it. He just whirled on Isaac, fangs bared, saliva dripping. Isaac lunged for the knife, but I kicked it away with what remained of my strength.
