Natalia’s POV The healer drew my blood while I sat on the examination cot with the curtain pulled around me for privacy, then had me leave a urine sample to be tested. The whole process took maybe ten minutes, but it felt like hours. “Well, you don’t appear to have a stomach bug,” the healer said with a furrowed brow as she checked my vitals and my throat for signs of illness. “Do you think I’m…” I couldn’t quite seem to finish the sentence.
