Kylian’s POV I swore I wouldn’t go to her tonight. After leaving her room the previous night, I had made a firm decision. I would stay away. I would sleep in my own quarters, alone, and remind myself who she really was. Rachel Silverton. The enemy. The woman whose pack had murdered my brother. The one I was only using to satisfy the treaty and my own physical needs. No more staying until sunrise. No more asking stupid questions about her favorite color or food. No more watching her gentle smiles from the window and feeling my chest tighten. I spent the evening in my office, burying myself in work.
