Kylian’s POV The next day, I left the palace before sunrise. I couldn’t stay there. Not with her under the same roof. Not after last night — after I stayed longer than I should have, after I asked her those stupid questions about her favorite color and food. What the hell was wrong with me? I rode hard through the forest with a group of warriors, pushing them through intense training drills near the southern border. We sparred for hours.
