As much as I knew Stephanie was glad to see her father, I was glad to see Elena go. She’s a thorn in my mate’s side and even the pack’s feelings toward her were turning angry and bordering on violence. So, it was good that they left when they did.
I also wasn’t upset to see Alpha Isaac go. While Natalie wasn’t limping like Elena was, she also looked like she’d had a rough night while he looked very pleased with himself.
Once all the guests besides our northern friends were gone, the pack began to feel back to its new normal self. It was great to be able to relax and spend time with all our friends before they, too, had to return home.
When we said goodbye to them, I could feel Stephanie’s sadness.
