Sloane I wake with a start, looking around quickly. We’re in wolf form, in a meadow I’ve never seen before. ‘Aisling, where are we? What happened? Where’s Benedict?’ I ask. Slowly, my wolf gets to her feet, looking around and sniffing the air. Nothing smells familiar, yet somehow, it all smells familiar. It’s very disorienting and it makes no sense. ‘Aisling?’ I ask again, just as she catches the scent of something. She takes off like a shot, racing to the source of the smell.
