The difference in my father from a month ago to now has filled me with worry. He looks terrible.
When I asked what was going on, he just said he’s tired and overworked. I didn’t have time to get into it with him. Instead, I told him I love him and I’m glad he’s here. At least while he’s here, I can keep an eye on him, but Will is right. This is my day.
If it were just about me, I would probably cancel, but it’s not. The Alpha and Luna ceremonies are the two most important ceremonies any pack can have. This is about me taking my place as this pack’s Luna. It’s about accepting my role as Will’s mate and my responsibilities for this pack. For those reasons, I do what Will has asked. I set my worry for my father aside and focus on today.
