Benny's POV
Eralia stiffens, her gaze flicking to me worriedly as Callan sucks in a breath.
‘Umm . . .’ the millionaire starts, looking from Eralia, to his wife, to Austin, then to me, as I’ve already told him that I’m taking Eralia home to my apartment with me.
I kneel down beside the trio, smiling softly at Austin who frowns in confusion.
‘You are going to live with us, aren’t you Rali?’ he asks, suddenly uncertain.
‘Eralia is going to stay with me bud’ I tell the six year old gently, ‘she still needs someone to take care of her.’
Austin’s face falls, ‘but, we can take care of her’ he mutters, ‘we always take care of each other.’
