Benny’s POV It’s been a long ass day, I’ve missed Eralia and the kids, and I can happily admit that. I’m packed away and on my feet just before it’s time to clock out, racing down the hallway past my bosses' doors, flipping off Callan as he spots me from behind his desk and laughs. Yeah, I’m eager, and I don’t give a s.hit who knows it, I’m also damn sure I won’t be late again to pick them up. I hurry out, barely remembering to say goodbye to Elijah, but still doing so because my life will not be worth living tomorrow if I didn’t, that man holds a grudge like no one I’ve ever met.
