Kendra's POV
Having Jaryd move in for the summer had me anxious at first, but once I met him and saw how disciplined he was, it didn’t bother me one bit. Felipe had told me all about him, about how he was a high school football star who had a full ride but was redshirted for his freshman year.
I was more concerned that he wasn’t rambunctious, playing loud music at weird hours, or having tons of sketchy friends in my house. Felipe assured me that he wasn’t like other 20 year olds, but I didn’t believe it until I saw it.
The first thing I noticed about Jaryd was his physique. He stood six feet, three inches, and had to weigh 220 pounds of pure muscle. It threw me off, because Felipe was only five foot ten, and maybe 175 pounds.
