“You can sit down and do it,” I ordered and it only took Sadie a moment before she took the chair right in front of my desk. She’s sitting on the edge of it, and her hands are still playing with her skirt.
Sadie is such a beautiful girl, and although a principal is never supposed to have a favorite, she’s always been special. So special.
