Lex is in his office reviewing requests from potential members. He can’t stop thinking about how Cheng came at him earlier. Lex doesn’t understand why Cheng is so upset. He should be happy as hell that he dodged Teedra’s bullet. “Hell, if anyone should be upset about her ass gone it should be me. Since I’m the one she cast a damn spell on.”
El is also there and has made a point not to discuss Cheng's craziness at the restaurant. He and Angelle talked about the incident when they returned to the pack. She told him that Cheng must have been subconsciously in love with Teedra. Now that she’s gone, his love for her has emerged.
