MORNING sun spilled through the large glass windows of Satin and Sage, casting warm light across the boutique’s polished floors and elegantly arranged racks. Amelia paused at the threshold, taking a deep breath as she adjusted her blazer. It was her first day back after three months of maternity leave, and although she had stayed active in managing the businesses from home, stepping back into the public space felt entirely different.
