"Can we stop by the house this weekend? I want to measure the window in the nursery. Granny wants to make some curtains for your minion." Ali says as she leans back against the seat. We are on the way to our appointment where they'll give us the envelope with the gender. Felicity had planned a gender reveal party for us on Sunday. Seeing her excitement, I'd relented after originally saying no because I didn't see the point of having one unless Ali wanted it. She had no feelings either way.
"The flooring should be done in that room. We can go by on Saturday." Our house will be ready in another month. We wanted to change all the flooring before we moved in.
At the office, the nurse lets us hear the heartbeat before the doctor comes in. "Nice and strong." The nurse says with a smile.
