“Daddy, when are you coming back home?” Liam’s worried voice echoed from the other end of the line. “Why did you leave without telling us?”
Before I could even open my mouth to speak, Noah chimed in on the conversation. “That’s really unfair.”
I let out a deep sigh. “I’m sorry, I won’t disappear on any of you again. I’m really really sorry.”
“Did you leave because you’re fighting with Uncle Jordan?” Liam’s question caught me off guard.
