“Call me later?” The lady asked as I walked her to the car.
I smiled. “Sure.”
After she left, I let out a relieved sigh I had no idea I had been holding. Then I got into my car and sat down in the passenger’s seat.
I pulled out my phone and checked the blogs to see if they had posted anything about my date.
Even if Valerie called initially and I told her I was on a date, I wanted her to get further confirmation from the blogs.
My lips curled into a small smile when I read the headlines of one of the articles.
