I felt heartbroken seeing that Valerie wanted to run away with Liam. Even though she had bolted before, it still came as a surprise to me.
Why did she want to do something like that to Liam?
Was he also aware that she wanted to take him to a different country? Away from his father?
My jaw tightened as I ran a hand through my hair. “I just wanted to bring our family together. And the only way I could do it was to file for full custody.”
