“What do you mean you can’t bring the kids back home tonight?” I demanded, my voice rising in anger. “Patrick, are you out of your mind?”
“Valerie, calm down.” He said with a frustrated sigh. “I tried my best. She refused to give them to me. What did you expect me to do?”
