“Sure,” I say in a weirdly husky voice, still running through fantasies in my head of lifting up Lucio’sshirt to reveal the six-pack I know is lurking underneath. “Whatever you want.”
It’s embarrassing how hard it is to tear my eyes away from him.
“She seems excited to get back to school,” Lucio comments as he fires up the engine and edges usaway from the curb.
“Yeah, well, being trapped inside hotel rooms for two months straight can’t have been easy on her.”
