L I A M I stared at the ceiling for two hours straight, but sleep wouldn't come. Everytime I closed my eyes, I would see Emily's face. Her eyes. Her bloodied hands and knife. And then I'd see my dad lying on the floor, and the pool of blood that was growing bigger and bigger. I had to get out of this room. I had to get some fresh air. I needed to think.
