Tomorrow evening came quicker than expected. And here I was in the kitchen, preparing lasagna, meatballs, and other delicious meals for dinner.
Liam and Valerie were outside in the backyard, playing with his new soccer ball, and the kids from next door.
I couldn't help but laugh at the sight of him, so carefree, and having fun.
After everything we've been through, after every challenge we've faced, and the road we've taken, it's nice to know that things were slowly getting back on track. I just needed this dinner over and done with, and everything will be back to normal.
Just a little bit longer.
