L I A M Zac has a huge crush on Rowan and it was beginning to get on my last nerves. Not because I was homophobic, no. But because he keeps denying it when it was as clear as day. He was currently trying to show off by telling a story about a party he went to last summer. Rowan was rolling her eyes so hard I was afraid they were going to get stuck in the back of her head. "So then," Zac was saying, puffing out his chest, "I told the guy, 'You're lucky I'm feeling generous today, or I'd have to show you what a real fight looks like.'" Rowan snorted. "Please. The only fight you'd win is a staring contest with a goldfish." The rest of us laughed, and Zac's face turned a bright shade of crimson. He looked like he was about to argue, but then he just shrugged, a sheepish grin on his face.
