I felt tears threatening to escape, and I closed my eyes, forcing myself to breathe.
When I opened my eyes, Dominic's gaze was on me, and the expression on his face was unreadable. He took a step closer to me, and just as I tried to back away, he grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him, hugging me tight.
