I snapped my eyes towards her, and realized that she has been standing by the door with Liam.
"Are you okay? You were just staring into space."
"Sorry, yeah. I'm fine. Hey my boy! How was school today?"

"Okay." He said and ran into his room.
"Did you bring the test results?" I quietly asked her, and she nodded.
