I haven't had a meeting with the board directors since my promotion which was a good thing, and they had informed me about the meetings months prior.
This was definitely an emergency and it made me anxious.
I didn't know what was going on, but whatever it was, couldn't be good.
Valerie seemed to be as nervous as me, and the last thing I wanted was for her to be worried.
"Hey, don't worry. It'll be fine. We haven't done anything wrong. So, whatever it is, they're probably just going to inform us of something and then we can get back to work. Maybe they have some changes for the hospital, or maybe they're adding some new rules and regulations."
"Yeah, you're right. We haven't done anything wrong."
