After we opened the gifts and spent some time celebrating, we sat around the fire pit, enjoying the warm flames.
We were drinking wine, and eating desserts. The conversation was lively, and we were just enjoying each other's company. I had taken Liam to bed earlier, and kissed and hugged him extra tight, before heading down.
"This has been the best Christmas." Felicia said, raising her glass of wine.
