H A I L E Y
Everything was going well for the first three hours of working. I hadn't bumped into anyone, or heard anything about the Alpha.
I was actually a little shocked, but not as relieved as I would have liked.
Because the longer I waited, the more anxious I was.
"Are you alright?" Val asked, looking worried.
"Yeah." I lied, checking the vitals of the patient in front of me.
"You don't seem like it."
"It's nothing. Just tired."
"You've been running around and not taking a break for the last three hours, Hails. It's not normal. Go take a break."
"I will, once this patient is okay. Can you please page Dr. Bates and let him know that his patient is awake?"
"Yeah, sure." She said, and walked out.
I finished checking the vitals and made a note in the file, before getting the pat
