The horses were resting in the stables here in Nightingale. They’d been washed down, brushed and fed all before they went back to their barracks to rest themselves. They understood taking care of what was theirs and that included their horses. Especially seeing as they were the animals carrying them and all their things wherever they went.
Then she headed back and washed and changed into a clean outfit. They’d trained everyday inside the Blue Maple and were going to have a rest day. It had been a long ride to that portal and then through the kingdom, and it was night here now, so sleep till morning and then on to see Patrice and see if Alpha Gretta had the answers they needed.
