The days passed by, and every other night Ivan was hunted by a new vampire right up until the night before the full moon, and it was a true hunt by the time that second one came, because Ivan had gone and hidden himself out in the woods trying to get out of the pack before it started.
That vine attached to him was indeed better than a wolfen realm tether. It let him go where he wanted inside the pack for the most part. There was, however, no setting foot inside any of the homes, or the packhouse, and if he tried to latch onto any pack members he was stopped and dragged back to the shaming post.
It was very frustrating for him and a little on the painful side as he came to realize it wasn't just a normal tether but imbued to stop him from harming anyone in order to make his escape
