She left her parents' house feeling a lot different than she had before, and as she walked about the pack she could feel those around her. She walked past the construction site of the King’s Eyes building and smiled as she felt annoyance and frustration coming from some of the workers, some felt tired and wanted a break and others were kind of in the zone and just doing what they enjoyed doing.
She walked about and just kind of allowed herself to feel everyone around her, getting the feel of how that Gamma ability really worked. She’d been told by Ryder before she’d walked off not to feel out the King’s Eyes. To which Isla had snorted, “Sure, I’ll keep what I’ve already felt to myself.” it was too late for that.
